Privacy Policy for My AI Minis

1. Privacy by Design

At Sparrow and Cypress LLC ("we", "our", or "us"), we believe that your personal data and thoughts belong exclusively to you. My AI Minis is designed from the ground up to operate completely on-device, prioritizing privacy, security, and user autonomy.

2. On-Device Intelligence & No Server Logging

My AI Minis is powered by Apple Intelligence running locally on your device.

Your prompts, chat transcripts, custom agent definitions, and knowledge bases are processed directly on your hardware using native system APIs.
We do not operate central servers that receive, log, store, or train on your queries or conversations.
Your data is never transmitted to Sparrow and Cypress LLC or any hidden analytics third parties.

3. Device Permissions & Tool Access

My AI Minis allows you to optionally equip your assistants with native tool capabilities. When you grant permission, these tools function as follows:

Calendar: If enabled, the app interacts with your local iOS Calendar solely to read schedules or create events as requested by your prompts.

Apple Maps & Location: If enabled, location queries and route lookups are processed through native Apple Maps frameworks. No location tracking or location history is retained or shared by the app.

Apple Weather: When requested, weather forecasts, current conditions, and severe weather alerts are retrieved directly through Apple's native WeatherKit framework based on the queried location.

Local Knowledge & Documents: Any files, notes, or knowledge bases you attach to an agent remain stored within your device's sandboxed storage.

Tavily Search: Web search capabilities are powered by Tavily Search. When an assistant performs a search query, only the query needed to retrieve web results is transmitted directly to Tavily. We do not proxy, inspect, or retain your search queries.

Model Context Protocol (MCP) Servers: When connecting to custom MCP servers, queries and relevant context are transmitted directly between your device and the designated MCP server endpoint. We do not inspect, proxy, or store this traffic.

Third-Party Services: Interactions with Apple services (Calendar, Apple Maps, WeatherKit) are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. Search queries sent to Tavily Search are governed by Tavily's Privacy Policy. When connecting to custom MCP servers, data transmitted is handled directly by those third-party endpoints in accordance with their own independent privacy policies and terms of service.

4. Zero Data Collection & Tracking

We do not collect personal identifiers, usage analytics, device telemetry, advertising IDs, or crash data. There are no advertising SDKs or third-party behavioral trackers embedded in My AI Minis.

5. Data Storage & Security

All user configurations, agent personas, and custom knowledge are stored locally in your device's encrypted sandbox utilizing Apple's SwiftData framework. We rely on native iOS platform security features to protect your data locally.

6. Data Control, Retention & Revoking Permissions

Because all data resides locally on your device, we retain no personal data, transcripts, or logs on external servers. You maintain complete control over your information at all times:

Data Control: You retain full ownership and complete control over your data. Because all custom agent instructions, knowledge files, and chat records reside strictly in your device's local storage, you can view, edit, or delete individual agents and notes directly inside the app at any time, or remove the application entirely to erase all associated data from your device sandbox.
Revoking Permissions: You can grant or revoke access to device capabilities (such as Calendar, Location, or Apple Weather) at any time through your device's system settings under Settings > My AI Minis.

7. Children’s Privacy

My AI Minis does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. Because all AI processing and data storage remain exclusively on your device, no personal data from minors is gathered, stored, or transmitted to us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if new app capabilities require it. Any updates will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
