How does privacy work in My AI Minis?
My AI Minis runs natively using Apple Intelligence on your device. Your conversations, prompts, custom instructions, and personal knowledge bases never leave your iPhone, iPad, or Mac. We do not operate remote servers for prompt logging, tracking, or training.
How do I add knowledge to a Mini?
When configuring a Mini in the app, you can attach text notes, custom background documents, or domain-specific context. Your assistant references this information whenever you interact with it, ensuring specialized domain expertise.
How do tool integrations (Calendar, Maps, Weather, Search, MCP) work?
Each Mini can be equipped with modular tool capabilities:
- Calendar: Lets your assistant check your schedule or create events via local iOS Calendar APIs.
- Apple Maps: Enables your assistant to search for places, look up addresses, and plan routes.
- Apple Weather: Retrieves current conditions, multi-day forecasts, and weather alerts powered by Apple WeatherKit.
- Tavily Search: Grants your assistant real-time web search capabilities to look up fresh information.
- MCP Servers: Power users can connect to standard Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to bridge custom workflows and data streams.
What system requirements are needed?
My AI Minis requires iOS 18.2 or later (or macOS 15.2 or later) on an Apple Intelligence-compatible device (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16 series, or any Mac or iPad equipped with an Apple silicon M-series chip).
